Pencil Sketches from 1982 by Klaus Kunzmann

Born in 1942, Kunzmann studied Architecture and Urban Planning at Munich Technical University and received his PhD in Planning at the Technical University of Vienna in 1971.
From 1974 he taught at the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany as Jean Monnet Professor of Spatial Planning in Europe. He was also visiting professor at Tsinghua University, Beijing, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge (Mass.), Swiss Institute of Technology, Zurich, Université Paris 8 and at the University of Cologne and the Sapienza University, Rome.
As a policy advisor at European, national, regional and local levels, he been involved in many urban and regional development projects.

Kunzmann first came to Nepal in 1982 on a review mission to evaluate the Bhaktapur Development Project.
On this exhibition we are dispaying his pencil sketches from 1982, 1994 and 2016 from different parts of Nepal.
